Manifesto

Every day, in cities and neighborhoods across the world, people die in silence.

Not because it was unavoidable. Not because no one saw it coming. But because someone made a reckless decision and no one stopped them. A driver ran a red light. Another swerved across lanes without warning. Someone sped through a quiet neighborhood where children play. And just like that, a life was gone. A mother. A friend. A son. A stranger. The news calls it an accident. But we know better. We have seen the signs. We have seen what happens when no one speaks up. And we have seen it happen again.

Globally, nearly 1.19 million people die each year due to road traffic crashes. That is more than 3,200 lives lost every day, often in silence, often alone. For children and young adults aged 5 to 29, road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death. More than half of those killed are vulnerable road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists, people who were simply on their way home.

Trafic.ai was born out of that silence.

Not from ambition, but from frustration. The kind that builds up after every near miss. The kind that keeps you awake at night, playing out what could have happened. The kind that comes not from anger, but from love—love for our families, our neighbors, and even strangers we will never meet. The kind of love that says: this is not okay. This cannot be normal.

We have all passed by the flowers on the sidewalk. The fading teddy bears tied to lampposts. The photos tucked into street corners where someone did not make it home. Evidence of a moment that should have been prevented. And for what? A text message. A light that was “barely red.” A driver in a hurry, thinking the rules are for other people.

Trafic.ai exists to make sure those moments do not go unnoticed again.

It is a quiet, immediate way to act when it matters most—giving your voice power, safely and without confrontation.

For everyday people, Trafic.ai offers something often missing on the road: a sense of agency. That moment when your heart races after a near miss, when you whisper, “That could have been me,” does not have to end in helplessness. Now, there is a way to quietly do something about it. No drama. No shouting. Just a calm, clear record of what happened. A simple way to help make the streets safer for yourself and for others you will never meet.

For those who sometimes push the limits, it is worth knowing that more eyes are on the road now. Not to judge, but to care. To protect what matters. Increasingly, communities are stepping in, not out of anger, but out of concern.

And for those tasked with keeping us safe—our officers and public servants—we know the weight you carry. No one can be everywhere, and no one should have to bear the burden alone. That is why Trafic.ai exists: to offer quiet, steady support. Every voice that reports is a citizen standing beside you. Every alert is a chance to act sooner. Together, we can bridge the gap between what is seen and what is done, between intention and impact. This is what toplum destekli kolluk looks like in practice: a shared responsibility between citizens and law enforcement, working side by side to make streets safer before tragedy strikes.

This is not just about traffic violations. This is about a culture.

A culture that has normalized recklessness. A culture where silence feels safer than speaking up. A culture where grieving families are expected to accept that “these things happen.” But they do not have to. Not if we notice. Not if we act.

Trafic.ai is here to shift that culture. To say: someone is watching. Someone still cares. Someone chose to speak before it was too late.

Because behind every statistic is a name. Behind every name, a family. And behind every siren, there was a moment when it all could have changed.

We built Trafic.ai so that next time, someone will change.
